If your profile is not found, just hit ‘add new film’ and submit URL’s to films you want to be credited for, POSTED BY THE PRODUCTION HOUSE to accelerate our data verification process.

This is your own personal Blackbook, where you can bookmark any talent with all the films you’ve liked, a preference/ priority score and a note. Use this as a directory to store a list of probable assistants whose work you may have chanced upon or to follow the work of a technician you love.

Work Calendar, works!

Enquiries, tentatives (interested) and confirmation received on the platform automatically appear on your calendar. Hit the Self Block button to record all offline enquiries, tentatives and confirmations. Updating your availability on a daily basis pushes you to the top of the search results !

Search for your name, filter the role, and if the work is yours, claim it.

Aadhar verification will be required the first time you claim work. Our team will verify and merge all the claimed profiles into your master profile within 36 hours. Please do not delete your master profile.

Step 04

After your profile is merged, you can organise your showreel by tapping your profile icon and also add new films by sharing a URL with all the credits.

Why should I update my calendar?

Producers prefer talent with an updated calendar, and maintaining it can improve your search ranking. The most active users appear at the top of the search results. Keeping your calendar updated also creates a sense of urgency, as producers can see your enquiries, tentative bookings, and confirmed bookings.

How can I update my calendar with the offline enquiries I receive?

To update your calendar with the offline enquiries you receive, tap on Self Block > Blackout > Project > enter the project name, select the project status, and enter the start and end dates. Then tap on Block.
To block your calendar for personal events, tap on Self Block > Blackout > Personal > enter a title, and enter the start and end dates. Then tap on Block.

Why do I see multiple accounts in my name?

TouchBlack relies on production house data to confirm and verify credits. Variations in names could result from production houses posting credits with minor spelling errors or it may represent different individuals. To maintain data integrity, the information is retained exactly as posted

How do I claim multiple accounts?

Search using part of your first or last name and filter by role to locate profiles that might be yours. Once you find a profile that seems familiar, review the showreel to confirm that the work belongs to you, and then hit the “Claim” button. For your first claim, you’ll need to authenticate with Aadhaar verification. After this, you can claim all profiles linked to your work, including those with misspelled names or different roles you’ve performed. Please note that incorrect claims may result in your master profile being suspended.

Why does TouchBlack require my Aadhaar verification?

Aadhaar verification is required only for the first time you claim another account. This ensures the claim is made by the rightful owner. TouchBlack does not save your Aadhaar information, as all communication with UIDAI is encrypted.

Is it safe to disclose my Aadhaar number and OTP?

Yes, it is completely safe when done through TouchBlack. All communication with UIDAI is encrypted, ensuring your information remains private and secure. TouchBlack does not store your Aadhaar number or OTP; these details are used solely for verification through UIDAI. The verification process complies with UIDAI guidelines and is conducted via secure and approved channels.

How does TouchBlack ensure that the talent showreels are verified?

We gather film talent credits from multiple sources and cross-check them with data from production houses. This way, every showreel on our platform is verified and credible.

How do I upload new films to the platform?

If a film is missing from your showreel, tap on “Add New Film”. Enter the production house name, film title, film link (from YouTube or Vimeo only), and the crew link from any social media platform posted by the production house, which includes all crew details.
Data on TouchBlack is verified by the production house. To ensure accuracy, we require credits posted by the production house for verification. Once you submit the request, it will be reviewed by our backend team and added to your showreel, after approval.
Please note that the film link cannot be from Instagram or Facebook, as these links will not work on TouchBlack.

How can I correct a film or talent credit?

If you find any missing or incorrect film credits, incorrect role credits, or other issues, tap the “Report Film” button. Choose the appropriate reason for the report, enter the correct film URL (posted by the production house with the credits), and provide additional details in the notes section. Then, click Report.

Does TouchBlack have access to my chats and negotiations?

No, TouchBlack does not have access to your personal chats or negotiations. Your conversations about project deals, fees, and other sensitive information are fully encrypted and remain private between you and the other party. We prioritize your privacy and ensure that all communication is secure, with no third-party access.
